We’ve been made aware of phishing scams where fraudsters are using fake websites disguised to look like Trustmary’s website or forms to trick people into giving away personal information.

These scam sites attempt to copy our branding, design, and even parts of our messaging to create a false sense of security.

This does not mean that the Trustmary platform is compromised in any way. Your data is safe as long as you don’t interact with the scam sites or give them your data.

This post is here to protect you, your data, and your peace of mind. Here's how to recognize the fraud and stay safe.

What’s Happening?

Some individuals or groups have launched fraudulent websites that imitate Trustmary’s brand. They might ask you to fill out forms, share sensitive data, or even make payments — all under the false pretense of being associated with Trustmary.

These scams are not connected to Trustmary in any way. We are currently investigating and reporting each instance as we discover them.

These scams do not mean that your or your customers’ data is compromised. The scammers do not have access to any data inside the Trustmary app.

If you have not interacted with the fake sites (described below), you are safe.

If you have already given scammers your information or have already lost money, make sure to contact your local authorities and your bank. Freeze any cards or accounts that are compromised.

How to Spot a Fake Trustmary Site

Here are some easy red flags if you know what to look for in a fake site.

Pay attention to the context

The recent frauds have posed Trustmary as a completely different type of company in a completely different industry.

Trustmary has nothing to do with booking hotel rooms or reserving any holiday accommodation. We also don’t offer any financial help, loans, or investment opportunities to consumers.

Trustmary is a software company that provides companies with a tool for collecting and showcasing customer feedback.

Always check the URL

Our official website is https://trustmary.com, and we have subdomains app.trustmary.com and help.trustmary.com

Anything else — like trustmary-info.com, trustmary-surveys.org, or similar variants — is not us.

Not to mention that most scammers use completely different URLs.

Spelling and grammar issues

Fake sites often contain awkward wording, typos, or odd formatting that you won’t find on the real Trustmary site.

Shady promises or pressure tactics

Trustmary never asks for your personal data in exchange for money or promises unrealistic rewards for filling in a form.

We never ask for your password, as you don’t need a password to log in to Trustmary. (We use a one-time passcode sent to your email or your Google or Microsoft account credentials).

We only ask for payments via trustworthy payment applications like Stripe – we never ask for your credit card number via email or forms.

If you receive a payment request you are not completely sure of, contact us via help (at) trustmary.com to find out if it’s warranted.

Our Commitment to You

Trust is in our name — and we take that seriously. We are committed to keeping your data and experience safe. These scam attempts are deeply frustrating, but with awareness and caution, we can beat them together.

Please help us by staying alert, spreading the word, and never giving out your personal information to unverified sources.

Let’s keep Trustmary a name you can count on.
