Extremes dominate
Only the very satisfied and the very dissatisfied write reviews. The silent majority's experience is left in the dark.
Impartial, up-to-date, and verified information about local businesses — all in one place. Free for consumers.
Nowhere does there seem to be truly impartial information about businesses. Current review platforms have systematic problems that distort the overall picture.
Only the very satisfied and the very dissatisfied write reviews. The silent majority's experience is left in the dark.
A competitor, the business itself, or a random harasser can leave a review. Bought recommendations are common.
Years-old bad experiences linger on profiles, even if the company has significantly improved since.
On many platforms, better placement, advertising, or a "premium profile" is sold for money — not earned through experiences.
We are not just a listing of star averages — Trustmary Directory is based on broader data, on which we produce ready-chewed analyses of companies' customer experience.
We bring customer feedback alongside reviews — the kind that stays hidden on other platforms. One business typically has 2–5× more data in Trustmary.
You do not have to read every review. AI summarizes the company's strengths, areas for improvement, and recurring themes into a clear summary.
The score is calculated from the past two years of ratings, and a rating's weight halves in about two months. You see the situation right now, not years ago.
In Trustmary Directory, reviews and customer feedback combine into one impartial overall picture.
Trustmary reviews and feedback come from real people who have used the company's services. Additionally, the breadth of data produces a more truthful picture of the company.
We bring customer feedback alongside reviews — it's often more neutral and tells the silent majority's story. We openly document how a company collects feedback — you can assess its reliability yourself.
A dynamic Trustmary Score emphasizes the most recent feedback and reviews, so you see what the company's customer experience looks like right now — not through a bad comment from the last decade.
Our work is based on a manifesto: trust between customers and businesses must be built with genuine, transparent information.
Trustmary Score answers one question: how likely is the company to deliver a positive customer experience right now? It is based on broad data, not just a star average.
An overall assessment of how satisfied customers are, how consistently the company succeeds and whether the score can be trusted right now — not just how many stars someone clicked.
For example, looking for a roofer: type "roofing" and your locality into search. Filter by Trustmary Score or number of reviews.

Assess reliability comprehensively before making a purchase decision.
No, a business cannot influence individual reviews or feedback. Additionally, Trustmary openly documents how a business collects feedback and reviews.
You see the collection process transparently on the business's profile, allowing you to assess how comprehensively customers have been heard. Trustmary Score also takes into account how broad the data the assessment is based on is — the more comprehensive the material, the more reliable the overall picture.
In traditional review services, extremes dominate: only the very satisfied or very dissatisfied write public reviews. Trustmary makes the silent majority visible too — those who gave feedback but no public review — so the overall picture is more truthful.
Some platforms have also been criticized for the fact that better reviews or better visibility can be obtained by paying. In Trustmary Directory, a company cannot buy itself a higher position, better reviews, or ads.
Trustmary Score is much more than a star average. Recent ratings weigh more than old ones, poor experiences lower the score even next to a good average, and a small dataset pulls the score toward the average. A company whose recent customers are consistently satisfied can therefore score higher than one whose high star average rests on old or few reviews.
A review is an assessment a customer has publicly left, such as a star rating and written comment. Feedback is assessments or comments that the customer has not given permission to publish.
Feedback — such as NPS or satisfaction survey results — can however be presented as a whole, where an individual feedback giver does not stand out from the mass. One customer may have left both feedback and a review: if a business gets 100 feedback entries, typically 20–50% are reviews. Feedback thus shows a better sample of the company's customer experience.
No. Unlike some other similar directories, businesses cannot buy better rankings or advertisements on the platform. Trustmary Score is based on real customer data. The only way to a better Score is a better customer experience — collecting feedback keeps the score current but does not raise it by itself.
The directory combines reviews from various sources. Reviews given directly through Trustmary's email survey come from verified customers, so you know they are based on real experience. Reviews imported from other platforms, such as Google, may be left by anyone.
Trustmary Score is based on real, measurable data. The directory highlights genuine strengths: ones that customers have themselves verified and whose existence is objectively verifiable.
You cannot leave feedback directly in the directory, as it would conflict with our principle: feedback must be reliable and come from real customers. You can only give a Trustmary review if you are a customer of that business.
Many businesses send a feedback survey, for example, after a project ends or a product arrives. You can however always leave a Google review for a business you have done business with — in that case the review is not considered verified in the directory.
Trustmary has over 10 years of history as a producer of impartial customer experiences. We have helped hundreds of companies in Finland and thousands worldwide collect, lead, and showcase customer experience. Our work is guided by a manifesto: customers have the right to reliable, up-to-date, and transparent information about businesses.
The score is shown only when there is enough recent data behind it. A new company has no score until it has at least 10 ratings. The score is also hidden if the company has received no new ratings for six months, because old data says nothing about its service today. The ratings still show on the profile, and the score returns when new ratings arrive.
