They will take tourists to the best places in Lapland to watch the AURORA.（ This includes some areas of Sweden ） I went on a 10 hour Aurora tour with them from Rovaniemi to Inari. The journey was long and tiring, but when the aurora appeared, it was all worth it. This will be a very beautiful memory in my life. Ma la guida, ed è questo il trucco, continuava a scattare foto in cui appariva una splendida aurora di un verde sgargiante. Delusione e sconcerto animavano noi e, soprattutto, i bambini. Non riuscivamo a capire: l’aurora appariva magicamente nelle foto ma nessuno di noi vedeva nulla. La guida non ci ha fornito alcuna spiegazione in merito. Il vero raggiro sta nel fatto che non ti dicono che per loro vedere l’aurora boreale significa fotografarla con le loro macchine professionali senza che tu, però, la veda davvero e così imbrogliano tantissimi turisti.Abbiamo chiesto il rimborso promesso ma ci è stato negato, ci hanno mostrato la foto scattata del nostro gruppo con l’aurora come sfondo. Highly recommend the Snowmobile Safari Adventure Tour if you’re a thrill seeker who loves to ride fast! David is a fantastic guide, he wasn’t joking when he said he knows what fun is 😄 After a quick onboarding we explored the beautiful landscapes around the Rovaniemi area, driving through the woods and on endless frozen lakes. Apparently the tour is usually targeted for VIPs, but towards the end of the season it’s open access and it was really worth it, especially if you consider the rather low price point (99€) compared to other tours (similar tour at a different company we did in the night time was 150€+). 10/10 would book again to drive snowmobiles at 120 km/h 😄

The collection of the keys was quite easy No lighting at the key collection point, making it difficult to see the code and highest box even harder for a short person was very challenging. We had trouble finding the apartment as there is no signage, it would be much easier for people to locate in the dark and with later arrivals. At times we felt cold as the heating appears to fluctuate. A suggestion also would be to wash or replace the shower curtain as it has black mould growing, this is a health concern.

Omg. This was my thirs Aurora hunting tour for this trip, but the first with Booklapland and OMG what an amazing experience. We were lucky because weather was good, but I also know that having a tour guide with good disposition and who really wants to find the Auroras for something else than just “getting a job done for the night” is, and our guide, Paul, was perfect. He took us all the way to Sweden and we enjoyed an amazing night as he registered everything with his camera (not only pictures but also videos). Can’t recommend the tour company and most of all our tour guide enough.

I don't know where to start but I can't recommend more this tour operator. I just got to the Airbnb from one of the best nights of my life 🤯🤯 I end with these guys because of a recommendation from Lorenzo Mirandola (Aurora Hunter) and last night was absolutely crazy. They drove to Sweden and looked for the best skies and spots since minute one. Paul was my guide and give him 10 out of 5 five stars, this guy loves his job and shows his passion for what his doing. I did another "cheaper" tour and was a total waste of money and time, invest in these guys for the Auroras.

Ich wurde sehr ausführlich und freundlich im Office über die Tour informiert. Die Abholung erfolgte pünktlich und direkt vom Hotel. Der Guide brachte uns zu einem See, von dem wir gute Aussicht hatten, leider ist man dort wadenhoch im Schnee versunken und hatte auch mit Schneestiefeln Schnee im Schuh, was dann bei mehrstündigem Stehen unangenehm wird. Sehr schade finde ich, daß der Guide sehr schlecht Englisch gesprochen hat und nahezu gar nichts erklärt hat zur Aurora. Es wurde ein kleines Lagerfeuer gemacht an dem man sich wärmen könnte, wenn man Platz gefunden hat (ein Feuer für 2 Gruppen). Fotos wurden viele gemacht. Vielleicht ist es von der Seite des Anbieters darauf zu achten, daß wenn das Nordlicht da ist erstmal von jedem ein Foto gemacht wird. Es gab leider drängelnde Leute, die gleich mehrere Positionen wollten (und auch bekommen haben) und als die anderen dann dran waren, war das Nordlicht schwach oder nicht mehr sichtbar. Mehrmals habe ich gebeten auch mal ein Foto der Aurora für mich zu machen ohne Menschen. Dem wurde leider nicht nachgekommen, sondern anstatt kurz auf den Auslöser zu drücken, wurde dann der nächste dran genommen. Ich habe wunderschöne Aurora auf dem Foto - mit unbekannten Menschen im Vordergrund. Das Erlebnis die Aurora zu sehen war natürlich toll, aber die Enttäuschung zuhause beim Ansehen der Fotos um so mehr. Deshalb der Stern Abzug. Wenn ihr ein gutes Handy habt - unbedingt ein Stativ für die Fotos mitbringen!

Highly recommend them for their hospitality, the best Northern Lights Tour and also an amazing snowmobile experience. They drove us all the way to north Sweden to ensure we got our lights, were very patient and helped us with many picture. For the stay- smooth check in and checkout. They hosted us at their office with warm refreshments before our check in and also every single day while we crossed the city centre. Jukka was helpful over phone and in person both to sort little logistics issues not related to them at all. Indeed Booklapland has a wonderful team who strive their best in each of their services. Would recommend them to anyone looking for any kind of service in Rovaniemi!

The location was great, we had just enough space (although the bathroom was a bit small) and the bed was really comfortable Some of the cleanliness had been overlooked, the vents needed a good vacuum and clean to remove dust and at one point we needed to move the rug in the bedroom and it had clearly not been picked up for a while. The balcony was also completely untouched, to the point we saved a valet footstool from the snow and found a dustpan and brush out there, the 5th pop up bed had also been placed out there but when we tried to move it pigeons were nesting underneath so we didn’t want to move it - the whole space was unusable. We also felt as though some of the finishing touches were missing, literally - there was no headboard in the bedroom (as shown in the pictures online), hooks on the walls were missing pictures, and we had to ask for more mugs and bowls for the kitchen. We also found communication with the hosts to be very slow - although they were polite and eventually got back to to us

The property was in the centre and accessible to the market! We stayed here for 3 days but they didnt come to clean the dustbins or take trash away! When we called they said they dont provide house keeping services so we should go and throw the trash outside the society

Location was excellent for town with the added bonus of a parking space. The accommodation had everything you needed and it was really clean. On arrival the main front door was not working and we couldn’t get in that way, however eventually we were let in via the back door. Nothing major but just a small hiccup initially.

We had a wonderful time with Book Lapland hunting the nothern lights. Our driver and guide Dennis was so attentive, positive, professional, willing to help everybody and make sure that we were having a good time hunting the auroras. He was so enthusiastic, enjoying every minute of his work! When weather conditions went, sideways, he moved us to a better location where we could see the clear sky and enjoy beautiful formations of this spectacular phenomenon. We did the tour and all was good and we were told that they will share all the photos and videos after 3 days. After 3 days we received a message saying that the memory card was broken and hence they are trying to fix the problem. After a week we received a couple of photos and the most memorable photos and videos were missing. They provided 3 photos for the whole tour . This was a once a time visit which landed up with no good memorable videos and photos. I will not recommend this tour to anyone whom i know. I never got a word that they offered any compensation.What a sad ending.

Melhor agência de Rovaniemi para caçar a Aurora Boreal. Se realmente quiser caçar a aurora boreal essa empresa não mede esforços, distância e tempo para isso. Ficamos cinco noites na cidade de Rovaniemi e durante esse período o tempo não cooperou e todas as empresas contratadas ou cancelaram a caça ou não foi possível ver esse excepcional fenômeno da natureza, pois uma dessas empresas andamos por mais de cinco horas e voltamos frustrados. Tudo começou, por sorte, pois meu filho escutou uma conversa no hotel e ao abordar o hóspede ele nos indicou a BookLapLand e enfim conseguimos ver. Apesar do tempo e quilometragem gastos valeu muito a pena, tivemos que ir para o sul da Suécia pois a região de Rovaniemi estava nublada. Destaque para o nosso guia de nome Deniz, pessoa profissional, responsável na direção do veículo e bastante agradável e amiga com os turistas, em especial com meu filho Pedro de 10 anos. Em vários momentos ele ficava mais empolgado com a aurora boreal do que nós mesmos, o que demonstra seu comprometimento com o trabalho bem feito. Não se preocupou com o tempo dispendido na caça porque gastamos no total quase quatorze horas entre a saída e chegada, e a todo instante procurava um melhor lugar para ver, além de tirar excelentes fotos. Recomendo muito essa agência, pois fazem de tudo para você realmente ver a aurora boreal, e caso tenha poucos dias na cidade, pode contratar essa agência sem medo de ser feliz, pois ver a aurora boreal ao vivo é uma coisa inexplicável e emocionante. If you really want to hunt the Northern Lights, this company will spare no effort, distance or time to do so. We stayed five nights in the city of Rovaniemi and during that time the weather was not cooperative and all the companies we hired either canceled the hunt or it was not possible to see this exceptional natural phenomenon. For one of these companies we drove for more than five hours and came back frustrated. It all started by luck, because my son overheard a conversation at the hotel and when he approached the guest he recommended BookLapLand and we finally got to see it. Despite the time and mileage spent, it was well worth it, we had to go to the south of Sweden because the Rovaniemi region was cloudy. Our guide named Deniz was a special person, professional, responsible in driving the vehicle and very pleasant and friendly with the tourists, especially with my 10-year-old son Pedro. At times he was more excited about the Northern Lights than we were, which shows his commitment to a job well done. I didn't worry about the time spent hunting because we spent almost fourteen hours between departure and arrival, and I was always looking for a better place to see it, in addition to taking excellent photos. I highly recommend this agency, because they do everything they can to make sure you actually see the Northern Lights, and if you only have a few days in the city, you can hire this agency without fear of being happy, because seeing the Northern Lights live is an inexplicable and exciting thing.

A great experience with a great photographer. We were really looking forward to see the northern lights and to have the best pictures of this phenomenum. Since we wanted the dog Plouf (a golden retriever) to join us on the 'hunt', we decided to book a private tour. Just the two of us, Plouf and the guide/driver/photographer Eetu. It was absolutely sensational. We did not even have to drive too far because the lights were visible on half an hour drive from Rovaniemi, around 9 p.m. already. We got out of the car on some quiet and dark place and we started to make pictures in the snow. We took some ourselves, but Eetu took most of them. I am happy he did because his pictures turned out to be gorgeous. Plouf was posing like a diva, not disturbed at all by the cold, the snow or the green lights that were dancing behind her. Eetu took pictures of the nordic lights themselves and of us. Actually he took pictures of anything we asked and proposed sone nice views himself as well. Eetu took good care of us. He brought biscuits and warm drinks. He was friendly, passionate about his work, professional, interested, and we had very nice conversations in the comfortable minibus. We received the pictures a couple of days later, some of them edited (the most beautiful ones) and the others in their original form. These represent hundreds of wonderful souvenirs from a great night in Lapland. We are very happy that we chose Book Lapland for this great experience and are grateful that we had such a nice driver/guide/photohgrapher.

We went on a guaranteed aurora viewing tour with Leevi, and it was an unforgettable experience! A huge thanks to Leevi for capturing the best moments for us—he was incredibly patient and took as many pictures as the group wanted. We were lucky to witness a spectacular aurora show, and Leevi even went the extra mile to try and capture a video of us with the lights dancing in the sky. His dedication and enthusiasm truly made the experience special. The next night, we joined an aurora hunting tour with another company, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience due to the tour guide. This just goes to show that a great tour guide makes all the difference. If you're looking for an amazing aurora experience, we highly recommend booking a tour with Leevi!

Es ging knapp 2 h später los, als erwartet. Während der Fahrt stellte sich heraus, dass unserer Fahrer keinerlei Kenntnisse, Überblick über die Gesamtlage oder sonstige Qualifikation im Bereich Hospitality erweisen konnte. Nicht jeder gute Autofahrer ist ein guter Tourguide! Auf Nachfrage zu den Polarlichtern erhielt man die Antwort "Ich bin kein Experte". Was ich dem Fahrer anrechnen muss, ist dass er sicher gefahren ist und sehr weite Strecken zurückgelegt hat, um einem Ort zu finden, der unbewölkt ist und somit die Chance der Sichtung für uns zu steigern. Allerdings führte dies leider zu keinem erwünschten Ergebnis. Die Lichter waren weder mit dem bloßen Auge, noch durch eigene Handykameras zu erkennen. Lediglich durch die Kamera des Tourguides, konnte man sehen, dass der Himmel teilweise farbig war, allerdings waren die Kameraeinstellungen so, dass selbst der Schnee grün erschien und weiße Jacken als knallrot wiedergegeben wurden. Da ich eine Tour mit Garantie gebucht hatte, versuchte ich nach Rückkehr Gebrauch von dieser zu machen, da wir mit eigenen Augen nichts gesehen hatten. Es wurde argumentiert, dass es Beweisbilder davon gäbe, dass wir etwas gesehen hätten. Dass diese nicht erkennbar waren und lediglich durch Langzeitbelichtung, starken Kontrast und Sättigung auf den Fotos des Guides zu erkennen waren, müsste den Guides im Vorfeld klar gewesen sein. Ich finde es höchst unprofessionelleine garantierte Tour anzubieten, wenn man dieser Garantie nicht nachkommt. Es gibt Touren für die Hälfte des Preises und ich hatte mich bewusst für diese entschieden, um sie ein zweites Mal machen zu können, falls es beim ersten Mal nicht klappt. Andernfalls hätte ich 2 günstigere gebucht. Zusätzlich bin ich wahnsinnig enttäuscht über die Bildqualität. Die Fotos auf der Homepage und dem Social Media Auftritt sehen sehr professionell aus. Unsere erhaltenen Fotos waren alles andere als professionell. Der Guide entschuldigte sich damit, dass er sonst eine andere Kamera nutzt, gab aber auch an, kein Licht dabei zu haben. In meiner Unterkunft traf ich auf andere Personen, die auch mit BookLapland unterwegs gewesen waren, deren Fotos waren wie auf der Seite beworben, professionelle Portraits mit Ringlicht. Auf unseren konnte man Personen nicht voneinander unterscheiden. Die anderen dachten, ich scherze als ich ihnen meine Bilder zeigte! Professionell war daran wirklich nichts. Alles in allem war es eine wirkliche unschöne Erfahrung. Auch der Kontakt im Nachhinein, in welchem ich mein Anliegen schilderte, wurde nicht ernst genommen, mir wurde als Entschädigung ein 30% Gutschein für meine nächste Buchung angeboten. Ich würde diese Tour nicht empfehlen. In einem Travel-forum habe ich mich mit anderen über ihre Erfahrungen mit dem Anbieter ausgetauscht. Hierbei hieß es von verschiedenen Seiten, der Veranstalter würde Fake-Giveaways auf Instagram bewerben. Es handelt sich um Anzeigen, die gepostet werden um eine große Reichweite zu erhalten, welche wohl nie ausgelost werden, es gibt weder eine Laufzeit der Giveways und Fragen darüber, ob schon ausgelost wurde, werden offenbar unbeantwortet gelöscht. Ob das stimmt, weiss ich natürlich nicht, aber nach dieser Nacht kann ich es mir leider gut vorstellen. Mein Fazit ist, es ist nicht unbedingt beruhigend, wenn der Fahrer direkt zu Beginn sagt, er fährt sonst ein anderes Auto, später sagt, er nutzt sonst eine andere Kamera, außerdem kein Licht zum Fotografieren, sowie keine Powerbank dabei hat und sich für die Rückfahrt das Handy eines Passagiers ausleihen muss um zu navigieren. Hier war jemand einfach unvorbereitet und das hat man von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde gespürt. Schade!

Splendid. Amazing work by the company. They were so accurate abt place and time. Best part was the guide juho he was too good travelling approx 500 kms and tirelessly taking so many photos and videos .

The location was amazing we had everything we needed and our door step. The host, Phäm was always on hand before and during our stay to give info and advice. Apartment was stunning so warm and comfortable and had everything needed in it for a family of four. We will definitely be back Nothing at all

Amazing experience. The experience and our tour guide Julia were amazing and super helpful with all the questions we had! Julia drove us all the way to Sweden to find clear skys. We got a perfect spot with a fully clear sky. The lights came out very strong and it was a dream come true. She put a fire, got some drinks and took lots of wonderful photos. She let us enjoy the spectacle as much as we wanted. I recommend 1000% this tour, Julia and the company. Thank you Julia!!

Night of dreams. Brilliant experience! Firstly our guide Paul was brilliant and so energetic,first he drove us to Sweden to a beautiful quiet spot where we saw such amazing lights....then cloud cover arrived,so Paul quickly took us to a new spot by a frozen lake which was all clear,and we saw the lights again!...he was super energetic,taking wonderful pictures of everyone in different poses and also set up a fire that really helped combat the freezing night...this tour was absolutely worth it and I don't regret a penny spent. Seeing the northern lights was a dream for me for so many years and it was fulfilled today. I will attach some pictures below(these are from my phone and not what Paul took with his DSLR)...be advised most times the northern lights are not very strong so I would recommend a good phone camera with a strong night mode to capture the spectacle. You will be able to see the lights clearer with your naked eye as the night progresses,but I would still recommend a good phone camera for the times when the light intensity is not very strong.There is also free pickup and drop,and some snacks and hot drinks by the fire. Overall a brilliant night,and couldn't ask for more

Enyoy the unlimited tour! Such a beautiful experience! In Rovaniemi the weather was cloudy, without them we couldn’t see northern lights in our holiday. We made more than 100 photos of amazing auroras in this beautiful trip unlimited. Very raccomended experience ❤️❤️❤️

Must see. The best place in Lapland if you want to experience the northern lights. I highly recommend book Lapland if you want to see and experience the Northern Lights. We made 4 stops and 4 norther light viewing and the last one just amazing. Walter was great guide, driver and photographer and he let us take our time enjoying the experience and he took some spectacular photos of us. Taking with other guest who took other tours that night, I realized we were the only one who saw the northern lights that night, as we end up going to Sweden. They know where is the best place to see the lights for that night.

100% recommended. Juho was our guide and he was really nice. Searched extensively for the northern lights! The whole team was very kind! We ended up seeing the aurora 2 times. First very shortly, he then drove for another 1.5 hour to Sweden and we could see it for a long time!

Great experience! Would book again in future visits! Best decision going with this company! We were able to see so many Auroras and thanks to our tour guide with knowledge where to go! We went all the way to Sweden even if Rovaniemi had a bit of a gap to see them but they didn’t want it to be risky so that already shows how much of an effort they put to give us the best views by experience, thanks Eetu!

Caccia all' aurora con aurora hunting. Aslak è stato una buona guida ,allegro e disponibile a rispondere alle domande,ci ha portati in una località in Svezia , cercando una zona con cielo limpido, all' inizio l' aurora è uscita timidamente...ma poi ci è stata un ' esplosione di colori e danza nel cielo... è stato bellissimo,mi sarebbe piaciuto però spostarmi successivamente in un altro punto per vedere un' altra aurora...cmq escursione consigliatissima 🫶🏻...buona caccia all' aurora a tutti !!!( Tour durato circa 8 ore ). Incredible experience. Honestly one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Super professional, we first drove in Finland itself for a bit, started hunting the northern lights and got some amazing views, later on we moved to Sweden due to some cloudy skies in Finland. Waited a bit in Sweden and then we had an amazing show with some amazing photos taken of us. As I've stated, incredibly professional in terms of knowing where to go to see the best lights and in terms of photography. 11/10 would totally recommend.

Blessing by Aurora Queen. I had a Aurora Borealis tour with Eerik on 4-March-2025, and it was an extraordinary experience. What truly set this tour apart was Eerik's decision to wait for the Aurora rather than chase it—a choice that proved to be absolutely spot on. We booked the guaranteed aurora light hunting tour and ha with Aslok a very nice driver and guide. Unfortunately we didn't#t catch the aurora light - and afterwards I got within 3 days my money back. Very professional service - great experience. They keep what they promise - also in case of no aurora lights :-)

Where do I begin . Wooowwww. Mesmerising, beautiful experience. They were thoroughly professional in booking , confident about delivering their guaranteed aurora sighting . Pick up was on time . Comfortable big vehicle. Mr David our tour guide and driver was extremely well informed and an excellent driver . We drove about 300 km and Mr David got excited after a rather 3..5 hr dull journey . Once we were out of our vehicle the show began and was one of the most beautiful experiences we have had . The lights stayed on for a good half an hour . We clicked lots of photos . Mr David helped us set up our cameras and phones for best viewing . He offered us warm drinks and cookies too . Book Lapland is the best . My suggestion is to make your presence online for direct booking too . A heartfelt thanks to the team for fulfilling our dreams .

Pessima esperienza. L’aurora boreale si è vista solo in foto. Nessuno di noi ha visto nulla ad occhio nudo. Un viaggio terribile, lunghissimo e scomodo. Ho speso 750 euro per una notte di tregende per me e i miei due figli che quando hanno scoperto l’inganno erano inconsolabili. Ho chiesto il rimborso che mi è stato negato nonostante avessi pagato la garanzia.
