Walk Your Plans is such an amazing concept! We made our appointment at the Atlanta area location, and Mark and Mary could not have been more accommodating. We sent a pdf file of our plans ahead of time, and Mark had them ready to project onto the floor of his extremely large open 'warehouse' space. During the process we were able to walk through our 'house' in full scale! We could feel how wide our rooms were, feel the size of the doorways and windows, and determine if there needs to be any changes made BEFORE we go to the final draft of our plans, and before construction begins. This process could potentially save you thousands of dollars in change fees. We were able to make 'changes' and notes on a white board that displayed the plans and then Mark emailed them back to us so that we won't forget our questions at the next meeting with the architect. If you are in the process of designing a home, or are ready to begin construction, we highly recommend you visit Walk Your Plans ! it was so helpful, and really a lot of fun! This was one of the coolest experiences we've encountered in recent years! My wife and I are designing/building out dream home and I thought it would be fun to have my contractor, architect, and my family and friends join us. This is such a great concept as it allowed us to walk into each room and have meaningful discussion as to whther or not the room as designed, works. We had the most amazing experience with Mary and Mark at Walk Your Plans Atlanta yesterday. To be fully immersed in the design process for 5 hours using their space and technology is unmatched. We brought our entire design and architecture team and made significant changes to the schematic design plan that we otherwise would have been unable to do if not for the Walk Your Plans experience. I highly recommend it for any project big or small as it was instrumental to solidifying the next phase of our design plan. Had I known had incredible it would have been, I would have had our team include more renderings and elevations to truly envision the heights of walls, doorways and cabinetry. Mark and our team were able to make edits and changes quickly to try to accomplish that in a more simplistic way and it was helpful to see those changes made on the architect or designers computer and uploaded into their system in seconds. Communicating and scheduling with Mark was easy and efficient. We will likely do it again toward the end of our process and if we can't find an excuse to come back for our own projects, we'll be sending all of our friends their way. Thank you for an incredible experience and day together.

Mary and Mark have a well maintained, beautifully decorated warehouse where they project your plans onto the walls and floors, so you can “Walk Your Plans”. They are professional and kind. Mark spent extra time playing with some cabinet PDFs I sent so we could compare. The experience not only helped us address a couple areas we were questioning, but also revealed an area we are going to change. Making that change (in a stairway) in the field would have been so costly. We are grateful for WYP and highly recommend the experience!

Recently I had the opportunity to visit Mary and Mark at Walk Your Plans in Roswell, GA. I truly wish that I had known of them before we built our semi-custom home. Our average change order was over $2,000 – so it would not have taken much for use to save serious dollars. If you are a Metro Atlanta home builder looking to distinguish yourself, this is a service you will definitely want to offer clients. They will be able to see the physical impact of changes before the building starts and make decisions on the spot. This service is also available to home buyers that are building custom and semi-custom homes. I could see where this would work well for commercial space designers too. Give them a call before you start your next real estate project.

We have been working on a custom built home plan for quite some time. After MANY rounds of changes with our architect and countless meetings with our custom builder, we settled on a custom floor plan. Just prior to signing a contract, we found Walk Your Plans Atlanta. Oh my goodness! This could have saved us SO much money, irritation, and time had we found this company early on in our process! No drawing, blueprint, or mockup can replace this experience. The ability to walk on the life-sized floor plan allowed us to make real-time changes and updates with the builder that we could not have identified until the home was framed. Walk Your Plans Atlanta saved us thousands of dollars in change orders if we had discovered the needed changes after construction started. If you are building or even THINKING about building a home, go to Walk Your Plans Atlanta with your plan as early in the process as possible - but at the very least go here before you sign a contract!
