My experience. This private wine tour was absolutely incredible! Our guide was truly exceptional, going above and beyond to make the day unforgettable. Each of the three wineries we visited was so unique, offering a variety of experiences that made it a true journey through the region’s wine culture. The included lunch was a standout moment—it was incredibly typical and everything was grilled right in front of us, fresh and delicious. We also loved visiting the telfactory and the market, which added even more charm to the experience. And to top it all off, our guide surprised us by taking us to Sesimbra Castle at the end of the day. Even at dusk, the views of the castle and the fishing village were breathtaking. This tour was such a perfect mix of wine, culture, and stunning scenery. I can’t recommend it enough!

Amazing day outside of Lisbon! This tour to Évora and Alentejo Wines was unforgettable! Starting with a fascinating visit to a cork factory, we learned so much about this unique industry. Exploring the center of Évora and the hauntingly beautiful Chapel of Bones was an amazing cultural experience. But the highlight for me was the winery visits,both offered exceptional wines, with the Reds standing out as my personal favorites. Our tour guide was truly spectacular, so knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate. They brought everything to life and made the whole day seamless and enjoyable. Highly Recommended. Get Afonso if you can :). This tour was a highlight of our trip to Lisboa. I have to mention our guide Afonso who was not only very friendly and knowlegeable, but suggested we go at the beach for lunch instead of going to the market which was unexpectedly closed for a repair. Excellent tour and guide! Five-Star Review This tour was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Portugal! We started the day at the Mercado do Livramento, a stunning fresh market with so much to see. Then, we had the most amazing experience painting Portuguese tiles at a workshop—it was such a unique and memorable activity! Afterward, we visited a castle in Sesimbra and had lunch by the sea. The restaurant was a fantastic recommendation from our tour guide, and the food was incredible. Sesimbra is such a beautiful town; it’s so worth a visit. We also enjoyed a brilliant wine tasting at a local cellar, which was a perfect way to experience the region’s wines. To top it all off, we stopped by the Christ King statue, which offered breathtaking views to end the day. Our tour guide was simply outstanding—she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We could not have asked for a better guide! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portugal.

A Great Day Exploring Near Lisbon. After a few days in Lisbon, we decided it was time to get out and see the countryside. We chose this tour based on the itinerary and rave reviews, and we were not disappointed. We were picked up by Helena and proceeded to our first stop, the traditional market. On the drive she filled us in the the history of the region including the rise, fall and eventual return of the fishing industry. At the market we saw the amazing fish and produce from the area along with the black pork. We tasted the pastel da nata made on sight. I was slightly tempted to join the husbands that were at the bar while their wives shopped, but I was holding back knowing wine tasting was coming. We followed up the market with a scenic drive through the national park en route to the first winery. The panoramic views from the pullouts were stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. The first winery specialized in Moscatel. The tour of the storage facilities was fascinating, and the we got our first taste of this famous fortified wine. Wife and I are not sweet wine drinkers, so the Moscatel was not tour liking, we could still appreciate the quality of the product. Our guide, knowing our preference for red wines was able to get us a taste of a few of their red varieties. These were much more to our liking, and took a couple back with us. Lunch was just a short stroll to a lovely local establishment. The food was cooked directly over the coals on an outdoor grill. The smells had my mouth watering even before we sat down. We got the fish of the day and the black pork. Both dishes were simple yet absolutely delicious. Then it was on to our second winery and our last stop. This was a much smaller and we got a private tour of the facility from field to bottle. Their wine was the high quality with an excellent value that you hope to find in Portugal. They even have shipping options. The tour was an excellent way for us to get out and experience life away from Lisbon. Just an amazing day. Could not recommend enough.

Best tour ever in Portugal. Im truly glad to my friends that told me about this tour. Our guide Nidia was wonderful and very funny, just like they told me. Honestly, we have been to many tours in Portugal, but none beat this one. The views, the wineries, the food and the tour guide as well. Simply amazing! Immerse Yourself in Portugal: A Day Trip Filled with History, Art, and Flavor. This is the perfect day trip out of Lisbon to experience rich culture, delicious food, and stunning views. It's amazing how much you get to see and do in 8-9 hours. The tile making workshop was our favorite experience while in Portugal, and we can't wait to see how they turn out. A must do! My sister and I had such an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, Bernardo, was fantastic and offered not only great commentary on the locations/wineries we visited; but he was also beyond accommodating as it ended up just being me and my sister on the tour. We loved all his suggestions when it came to the wineries and what to order for lunch, as well as what to buy when visiting the local market. Definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a fun day trip right outside of Lisbon!

What a great wine tour!!! This was such an amazing day! We had a great time trying all sorts of wines from the Setubal region, and visiting a tile factory as well! Our tour guide Bernardo was especially excellent, and made our journey wonderful. He was especially kind as my mother who was with me had a broken arm, and he made sure she could get around safely. 10/10 trip, would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon!

Fun day out of the city! Due to heavy traffic we had a delayed pick up at our hotel, but our guide made up for it with a stop at a castle at the end of our tour and surprised us with a bottle of wine. Bernardo was more than gracious and friendly the entire day. His English was great, even for our mature ears. He made sure we were comfortable and satisfied the entire tour. Four entre selections were offered for lunch. We chose the grilled black pork slices and the grilled fish. Both included vegetables & potatoes. The wine served alongside was very good as well. The 3 stops for wine tastings were informative and generous pours of 3-5 wines at each. Pricing for wine to purchase was very reasonable. We paid 7 euros for a bottle of moscatel at one winery, and splurged at another one for 29 euros. Bernardo was able to answer our questions and provided many interesting bits of information during our drive. This was a very comfortable, “un-stuffy” day out of the city, and everyone involved was more than kind and caring. We would definitely recommend it to family & friends.

Perfect Day! We had a perfect day with our new ‘cool friend’ Helena , sharing food, stories and wine . Wonderful to see the local fish, seafood ,fruit and vegetable market , taste the best pastry on earth !! , marvel at the skill and love poured into each hand painted tile , and the local smaller wine producers provide excellent quality and show their passion for their efforts. We will be back to Portugal as this was our first visit and will definitely find Helena again to coordinate our experience and travels.

Tile painting and wine tour. We spent a wnderful day with Helena. She was not only very nice but very knowledgible about the area we visited. The tile factory tours were informative and we enjoyed painting our tiles. She them took us to a great seafood restaurant overlokking the beach at Sesimbra.with a great vjew. Then we headed up to a castle in tge hills overlooking the town. Even better views! There was alzoan old church the with walls entirely covered with hand-painted tiles. It was fantastic. Wrapled up the tour with a tour and wine tasting at the Quinto de Catralvos Winery. I cannot reccomend this tour and Helena enough. What

A great day out! This was a last minute trip and the team very kindly arranged to pick us up from where we were staying. The tour started with a visit to the market which you can’t miss if you want to grab cheese and chouriço. We enjoyed visiting 2 wineries, Bacalhoa and Quinta do Catralvos - both unique in their own way. Lunch was at a very nice restaurant, a few of our group opted for the fresh fish / cuttlefish - I took the porco preto which was delicious. We finished our tour with a visit to a tile factory, Azulejos de Azeitão - it gave me a real appreciation of the work, art and science that goes into making these unique tiles. Huge thanks to Yes! Great small group wine tour. We had a great day outside of Lisbon. This was a small group tour, with 6 attendees. The group was quite friendly which enhanced the tour. We started with a fish market in Setubal. That was fine but not noteworthy. We had tours/tastings at 3 wineries--each different in terms of size and offerings but all interesting. The amount of wine and selections provided at the tastings was generous. Lunch at a local restaurant was included between the 2nd and 3rd stops. We had multiple food options, the food was good and the portions gemerous. We also made a short stop at a tile factory which was quite interesting. The tour ended up running a bit late due to traffic, so it was a full day, leaving at 9:30 a.m. and returning around 7:30 p.m. Fair price considering the drive, lunch and tastings.

Wine, Food, Fun. Our tour guide, Banardo, was great. We did the Wine tour with lunch. We also visited a local fish market, which was an incredible experience, our guide shared with us the history of the fishmarket, which was interesting. The fish market had an incredible selection of seafood. The market also had a fantastic selection of fruits, vegetables and pastries. We had 5-6 tastings at each winery. The last winery on the tour was our favorite. It had a very relaxed and fun vibe. Highly recommend the tour to experience the local flavor of the small towns. We also highly recommend Banardo as a tour guide. He is very personable and provided us with a great experience.

A wonderful day of sights and tastes! We booked the full day tour of southern Lisbon. João was a terrific guide showing us his hometown and introducing us to what he loves. The day flew by and never did it seem to drag. We covered so much ground. The tastings were relaxed and beautiful. The market was busy with sights, sounds and smells abound. Lunch was fascinating - we sat by the grill and could see the fresh fish being prepared and grilled to perfection. The tile factory, our last stop, was very crowded since a bus had just arrived but our guide translated what was being said for us. Highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky to get João you will have a fabulous day!

We had a fantastic private Jeep tour through the beautiful landscape near Lisbon. The views were breathtaking, and Ricardo shared so many interesting cultural insights with us. Especially if you want to have a unique experience in Portugal with a local by your side that shows you the hidden diamonds and the heartly welcome of the portugese people! :) We had the best time with our guide Nidia. She is not only a great driver (on- and offroad) and a very experienced tourguide with great knowledge about anything you might want to know about Portugal, she was also so friendly and showed us more than we had hoped for. On the tour, we were not only able to explore the beautiful landscape, but also experience the warmth of the Portuguese people. Great private tour outside of Lisbon. Helena was an amazing tour guide and added so much value to our tour! She provided water and snacks and gave facts about Portugal in a fun commentary. I wish there was more time for the tasting portion of the wine. There was an art tour before the first winery, I think it was a little too long. The second winery had beautiful grounds and a very informative tour, however the mold in the buildings made me sick. I enjoyed the restaurant for lunch and the last winery was the best in terms of taste, and quantity. I do recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun day out in Lisbon.

BOOK IT NOW! 10 OUT OF 10! I can risk saying this was the best wine tour I've ever had, and I've been on a few around the world. Our tour guide, Nidia, went above and beyond to make our day extra special. I can't recommend this tour enough. It's a must when visiting Lisbon. Great wine, food, sights, fresh market, tiles studio... such a complete day with a delicious included lunch.

Amazing experience! This was an amazing day. We saw incredible views, made our very own cheese, and learned everything there is to know about making wine in Portugal. The best experience you could do in Lisbon. This was a 10/10 experience. Miguel was our tour guide and he went above and beyond to make sure our experience at the wineries, sightseeing areas, and overall cultural spots was great. Our group’s trip was amazing because of him. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone looking for an incredible time.

Best Day Ever. Our guide, NewNo was amazing. This tour was the highlight of my two weeks in Portugal. He was very knowledgeable on all the places we went. He knew the locals and you could tell he was very well liked. He did what we wanted to do and each stop was amazing. From the beach views to the mountains and the small towns it is a trip so so WORTH IT!! Our lunch stop was wonderful with the chef making all fresh food for us to try and she was so nice telling us all about the food. It’s a new restaurant called Bulla and she worked with Gordon Ramsey in England. A must thing to do while in Portugal.
