Great range of beers. Tried the West Coast IPA and Nitro Stout - both highly drinkable. The brewpub does 5oz flights if you want to explore more. Food is well presented and hits the spot. Tried the Cowboy club with a side of Kale Caesar - crisp and juicy as needed. Will return when opportunity arises.

The Hawaiian Heat pizza is great. They also have a breadth of amazing beer selections, both constants and seasonals. The peanut butter stout is a great option.

Great out of the way place. The beer is REALLY good. The waitresses are quick and attentive. They don't have a huge food menu but what they do have is excellent. All in all a great place if you want a beer and some good food.

came here with my brother on his birthday after dropping our dad at the airport. was a perfect stop! super clean, spacious, great beer and good food. prompt, kind service. they had a stage too so it looks like it would be a sweet place to play and/or listen to some live music. highly recommend!

Sometimes, in the urban industrial wasteland, you'll find a hidden gem. This is one of those places!!! Stuck somewhere unassuming in the middle of the warehouses and hotels up by YYC, you'll find Railyard Brewing. Marked only by a sign, high above the front door among everything that looks the same... You'd expect only that - just the same. This place is anything but. Walking through the front door you are welcomed by an inviting glow and a case holding some of the things they are most proud of. On your way passed the bar, the aesthetic of the place starts to take hold. The decor is semi-industrial - fitting to the area - with awesome graffiti on the wall. The food menu features familiar favourites - pizzas, sandwiches and bar snacks. They take every opportunity they can to incorporate their craft brews as ingredients in their dishes. The pizza features a fantastically crispy, yet chewy crust! Everything I've tried so far is amazing! The presentation never lets you down, even the vegetables are still al dente in the soups I highly recommend the Pesto Cauliflower Sub, their Pretzel Crouton Kale Caesar and the Loaded Nacho Fries. They offer so many beers, made in house and available in most liquor stores. You'll have to swing by for their taproom exclusives, which are only available at this location - including Anita. She was super knowledgeable, ready with recommendations and an absolute gem - just like this place.

Love this place…a Beacon of Hope for good times in an otherwise intolerable sprawling industrial complex beneath a flight landing path to Calgary Airport. Totally recommend hitting this place for a Sunday afternoon. Nearby Hotels serve Railyard’s choice beers on tap - Go with the IPAs!

One of the best breweries I tried(I tried more than 12 of them in Calgary). Beer quality was great, beer temperature was perfect, staff were very friendly, atmosphere was awesome, great design, dart board and pool table, most importantly great music and perfect volume. I suggest to remove the Pizza from the menu or work more on the Pizza dough and the toppings. I know many people may like these type of pizzas but to me it was not a good Pizza. we tried Fries nachos as well which was great but do not know why they still use this dough for their pizza. however I am very picky when it come to food . feel free to try this brewery . No doubt they are one the best if not the best. I ll go there again for sure.

Yelp wins again!! Love the vibe of this place! The people are amazing! We only had one night in Calgary and wanted to find some yummy poutine before we headed back to the US. Railyard Brewing had delicious food, great drinks and fabulous poutine! We would go back in a heartbeat! Love this place!

Micro brewery with very good and unique taste beer selection. I really enjoyed the Ghost Pepper. There were a few of us from the office and the different kinds of pizzas served were also good.

Nice brewery! Close to airport in an industrial area. Very nice brewery. BIG! and good beers. Like the atmosphere and staff were very friendly and gave us the history etc. of brewery. The railcar art work on the walls is very interesting and adds to the atmosphere. Did not have food as it was a basic menu with items that we were not interested in therefore cannot comment.

Good pizza and great brews. Their core offerings are tasty, especially their nitro stout. They usually brew one or two taproom exclusives which are great. They had a fantastic English Dark Mild a few years ago and at the present time they have a British Brown ale right now which is quite similar and deliciously smooth and nutty. It's a pretty open space inside and they also have a billiard table and some darts available. Service is fast. Great brewery in the north here near the airport.

5 star rating! Yes, I love this place and it is my favorite watering hole to be honest. I am though providing this review today because of my experience last night when my wife and I went to celebrate our wedding day with some of our close friends. There were 15 of us and our waitress, Lindsey (hope I spelled your name right!) was absolutely fantastic. I generally always have friendly staff here, don't get me wrong, but her service was spectacular. So thank you again Lindsey! Everyone I asked really enjoyed their food and the beers are some of my favorite from local breweries, period. Definitely a place worth trying out if you have never been here yet!

I recently visited Railyard Brewery and had a fantastic experience. The Nepia BBQ Chicken Pizza was super tasty, and both the Nepia and stout were great tasting. The brewery offers plenty of entertainment with TVs, music, darts, and other games. Additionally, the staff provided a warm welcome, making the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a fun and delicious outing!

The peach sour here is the best beer I’ve ever had. I’ve been over Canada and the States trying peach sours and this one is hands down, the best one ever. A definite must try if you’re into sours. The brewery is cool too

Great, chill vibe that reminded me of BrewDog venues. Beer choice is solid and I feel the need to work my way through the entire food and drink menu! Definitely worth the time to visit and if you are in the area inbound or outbound to the airport, do yourself a favour and make a point of stopping in.

It's huge! Located just north of Calgary airport they attract folks staying in hotels near the airport and workers (hopefully having finished their shifts). For some reason my GPS could not locate so phoned and got directions. Wide range of beers and found my favourites for a flight including a hard selzer..first for me. Good looking food menu as well which I would save for next time. Lots of free parking..apparently the pub is a bit of an event destination...lots of space. Good beer and friendly service.

If you’re going to try the place out, come for a beer or two and make up your own mind. They are OK, nothing great. Consider yourself warned to avoid the food. We had a tomato soup which was more or less like eating a bowl of tomato paste and the pizza was one step above a frozen pizza. Apps and mains all came out at once which was also not optimum.

Awesome brewery in Northern Calgary. This place is a bit out of the way but has some of the best beer I have tried in the city so far, they have some creative types of beer as well that are fantastic if you want to try something new i recommend the peanut butter stout or the raspberry lemon blonde. But if you are into just regular lagers i can say they have the best lager i have ever tried. The games there add a lot of fun as well if you have friends with you We played pool and darts while we were there as well. The decor is creative as well and makes for a one of a kind experience.

Railyard has been my favourite local brewery since I discovered them. Their selection of beers are second to none and I've yet to try one I didn't enjoy. Now they finally have a food menu to match! The jalapeno popper grilled cheese is amazing.
