Highly recommended! My first visit to Nu-Sight. This independent opticians is tucked away from the high street, and despite being there for more than 20 years, I’m embarrassed I’ve not noticed or used it until now. I had the choice of opticians through a work voucher scheme, I wanted to give Nu-Sight a try, having previously used the two big names in the town. So glad I did. Nat took the time to understand all my previous ailments and conditions. He was attentive and helpful. I’ve never had anyone take so much time getting my vision perfected, trying all the options. I paid for the additional eye health check and again everything was really well explained by Nat. The rest of the staff are also friendly and attentive. Despite my visit being on the back of a work voucher scheme, there was absolutely no pressure to buy extras or opt for designer frames. Quite the opposite, I put on a pair of inclusive frames and the first comment was “they suit you perfectly”, and they really did feel comfy. I’m so glad I made the decision to visit. Just waiting guy the glasses but don’t see any issues. Thanks all.

I feel very fortunate that my son and I discovered the breakthrough treatment the Nu-sight offered to prevent our eyesight from getting worse. I am delighted with the medical care that myopia management provides … no more glasses during the day for outdoor activities, swimming and just a more relaxed lifestyle all around. No more broken glasses, misplaced etc. most significant is my son , who has benefited for 5 years and he has enjoyed so many things without having to wear glasses. It has also drawn a line in the sand as his eyesight has stayed the same while having 20/20 vision during day and all he has to do is wear the eye retainers while he sleeps… what could be easier !

I have been using Nu sight for many years. Everyone there is friendly and highly professional. I take a medication which can damage your eye sight. Nat does a thorough examination and retinal scans which are very carefully examined - having had this service from the NHS I am far happier with the detailed explanations and informative examination I have here and to trust my eye health to Nat and his team. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

By far, the best opticians I have visited. I am proud to be a patient with Nu-Sight and Nat has been so supportive and patient with me after initially suffering with sore eyes due to over wearing of contact lenses. I cannot praise this optician highly enough. As a previous reviewer noted he basically saved my eyesight in one eye, through a very comprehensive check up of my eyes when I went in with symptoms which were worrying me. He explained everything to me and showed me the problem in great detail on the detailed scan he did of my eyes. He managed to get me an appointment at the hospital eye clinic within hours (providing them with all the detail) and I had surgery the same day. Everyone was very friendly especially when I phoned to make the appointment. I have no hesitation in recommending Nu-Sight and will be back when I next need a normal check up or new glasses. I recently visited Nat at Nu Sight opticians and would highly recommend him. He is dedicated to his profession and this came through with the most thorough eye examination I have ever had. Having recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia I have been experiencing a few eye issues and was concerned I might have MS. The examination was more in depth than going to the larger multiples on the high St and Nat put my mind at rest with my concerns. I would never go anywhere else now. His selection of frames are great and he really does help you with your decisions for spectacles ensuring your needs are met rather than just selling a pair for a sale. Nu Sight and Nat is now our family opticians.

In desperation, I went to Nat at Nu-Sight and after a thorough examination, and microscopic imaging, he determined I had Demodex (Google it .. you will be amazed!)
