Our experience with LFY for our wedding in August 2024 was exceptional! They are so kind and are so passionate about their yurts! The setup of the yurt truly is so impressive. We had 120 people seated between the yurt and a small stretch tent. We pushed the tables to the side for the ceremony and then pulled them out after for just half the yurt so that we could leave room inside for the dance floor and desserts. We did the ceremony a mix of seated (direct and elderly family members) plus standing. The yurt made for such a beautiful and intimate feel and protected us from the downpour (one of the only rainy days in August of course) - and it even sounded so beautiful! The photos were beautiful and we’ve had so many compliments - we could not think of a more perfect wedding day - and we’re so appreciative of Alex and Selene at LFY for making it so!

Little Foot Yurts was absolutely incredible for our camping wedding! They were quick to respond during planning, and flexible with our plans and timing, and then the yurts and stretch tent were a HUGE hit with all of our guests! The glamping yurts were awesome to stay in for the weekend, making camping accessible to even our "city folk" guests, and the stretch tent and especially the lanterns were gorgeous and perfect for our event. My husband and I had such a memorable wedding, due in large part to Little Foot Yurts. It was a veryyyy windy day in September 2018, and the yurts stood up to the weather no problem. We had two yurts, the large for the music and dancing, and a smaller where we had our champagne bar, and food, along with some tables and chairs for resting your dancing feet. The setup was exemplary, and they were so picturesque in my parent’s front yard. I highly recommend Little Foot Yurts for your wedding or special event!

We have been working with Alex and his team at Little Foot Yurts for a few years now, starting with our own daughter’s wedding in 2019 with the Palace Yurt. Since then, we have had an additional wedding at our home farm based brewery using the Palace Yurt as well as the Lotus Yurt together. As well, we have had two weddings with their stretch tents with another coming up in October. We love these stretch tents soooo much that we rented one for two months this summer to get us through this never ending rainy season. Little Foot Yurts allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams! Their Palace Yurt was absolutely perfect for our outdoor wedding in the Cape Breton Highlands in July 2022. We have received dozens and dozens of compliments on our decor, and the yurt played a huge part in that - any other style of party tent simply would have looked out of place against the backdrop of the national park. They showed up with a *2 person* team and got the set up done on the Thursday for our Saturday wedding, allowing a full day on Friday for decor. Our jaws dropped first, when we saw that they only needed two people for setup (they worked very hard in 30C weather!), and again when we saw the Palace Yurt in all its glory. Communication was wonderful and setup was very smooth - they did not required myself of our coordinator at all throughout setup. Tear down occurred on Sunday and was very efficient, they left the area very clean - you wouldn't have been able to tell anything happened there at all. We were extremely happy with this as we had special permission for our wedding to occur in the national park and wanted to limit the time during which we impacted park visitors, etc. Our yurt was set up on a flat grassy area and it worked out perfectly! Tables and chairs were set up over their burlap type flooring and had no issues at all. With some good planning, we were able to squeeze in 102 places for dinner, with room for a speech podium. We have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about Little Foot Yurts and the prompt and helpful service from Alex and Selena! For a few years we've had a Little Foot Yurt as our home base in A for Adventureland at the Stan Roger's Music Festival. Having shelter is one thing when in Canso (lots of sun, wind, and sometimes rain), but also having the ambience and community vibes that come along naturally with having a Canadian hand-made yurt to retreat to is next level perfection. We've had very special moments happen while sharing space under the same roof with people we've never met, and by the end of the festival weekend, we feel like family and a lot of this has to do with having this common area where there is music, hugs, high-fives, or a place to sit and snack or have a drink together. We highly recommend supporting this small family business--you'll have pleasant interactions, a stellar set-up and the happiest party guests. We absolutely loved renting a stretch tent from LFY! If you’re looking for something unique (and less boring than a regular tent) look no further! The stretch tent was a VIBE. It had a very boho whimsical feel, and everyone at our wedding commented on how cool and unique the tent was. I loved that it didn’t have walls which created an open feel to walking in and out if the tent. It was gorgeous!! Also, Alex was a gem for install, my whole family was there and all spoke so highly of him. He gave us great recommendations on how to have the tent set up as rain was on the forecast. Luckily we moved the wedding and avoided the rain, but Alex even checked in the day before the original wedding offering to come further secure the tent for the forecasted wind which I thought was very sweet and thoughtful! Highly recommend!
