Bought an item through the website, said it was in stock, got a confrontation email, then nothing. 41 days of total silence from these clowns and received no item that I payed for. Fortunately I purchased through PayPal so I had some degree of protection. Correspondence with the shop was via private email and PayPal so I had a record that I could pursue a refund with. Eventually managed to get a refund through PayPal. But to go 41 days with no response at all from this shop is ridiculous, not even a “sorry we messed up”. Does it even exist? I wouldn’t know, I’ve no evidence to show that it exists other than a flashy website that takes your money. Anyway I ain’t buying from these guys again.

I did order on the 15th December some part for my bike, I still not yet received them. I did call the shop twice, and first time I was told the parts are on the way but I didn't receive them, I thought been Christmas could be Royal Mail having some problems. I call back for the second time after few weeks to see what's happened, I was told by the wer he was going to resend them, but again i never have received them. It is very strange after paying for the delivery I never got an email with the tracking number in both occasions or confirmation the parts were sent. Anyway very bad service.

We bought a Christiania at Boom Bike that has made our life infinitely easier. Our three kids love riding in it and it’s quite effortless to cycle them around. It’s a full car replacement and we enjoy using it even in the winter. TJ has been very responsive and kind in the two services he’s done for us. Not to mention he sold it to us for the best price I found compared to other London shops that sale it too. We’re very happy with our Christiania and the service we’ve gotten.

My experience over a few years now with Bike Boom has been great. They always spend time explaining what is needed and you have a real sense they will only fix what is necessary without add ons. If there is a small problem, they just helpfully sort it out for you. It's always friendly and personable and has a real community feel. As someone who isn't really confident with my bike, I used to dread taking it to be sorted but now it just feels like I'm going to see some friendly faces - all very relaxed. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I don’t think they deserve one star to be honest. I ordered a scooter wheel for my grandson, but never received it so I rang them and they said they would send a replacement out. I rang to say I hadn’t received the replacement and was told it had been sent out by Evri. I have asked for my money back in an email but they haven’t bothered to reply, i will not deal with this company again.

Have used Bike Boom twice now, for both a general service and replacing the chain on my bike. The chain was done for exactly when I needed it back for. Did a service in the last week or so and it's like a new bike! Even had to question the price when it was done as the value was unbelievable. I've taken my bike there twice and had great service. The first time was to have everything wrong put right after a high-flying pothole accident. Once fixed, my bike was like new and all for a very good price. I was also advised about CAMS if I needed any help claiming for my accident. Knowing my bike was 100% gave me great confidence to ride again. The second time my back wheel and gears weren't right, were adjusted in minutes and I was back riding with the bike feeling great again. Very happy with Bike Boom! and will go back again.

Took bike to get brakes fixed...told I might as well get 40 pound service...picked bike up, 84 pound charge. service 60 pounds and brakes tightened...nothing else, took bike back after 3 days back brake going... man said brake not meant to stop me! man condescending, since 'service' chain off twice. Love to be stitched up.

Took my wheel to get bearings replaced. Nine months later I got told they still hadn't Evan looked at them. Then they said we tightened the spokes, what??? Why??? I needed the bearings replaced then on top of that they couldn't find my wheel so I don't Evan know how it was stored or weather it is safe to ride, and if I crash because of wheel failure on these wheels I'm sueing bike boom. it was stored with the zip to the carbon wheel bag open. worst bike shop I've ever had the stress of dealing with and to make everything worse the owner was super rude made a comment about have you not got a phone, where have you been in prison. Don't deal with them it's really not worth it best bike shop is cycle wand in brighton tiny but kind caring considerate people. No apology just really rude and made me feel awful cos I ended up getting angry.

Nice guy but leaves u waiting over a week from pick up date and claiming i didnt leave all bits and now missing parts for my wheel that still not built over a week later Well since i put this reviews which are true and it wasnt the 1st time he was alot late with my wheels also failed to correctly tune my gears blaming the jockey wheel.... Wrong they now run true with same jockey.... I stopped by to pick up a second hand saddle on the BikeBoomBigBikeJumble sale!! ...It was really nice to meet the Bike Boom owner (and realise I used to work with his wife and we'd met before!), TR fitted the saddle for me and it's super comfy. It's so convenient having this bike repair store just a few minutes ride away from where we live, will definitely use for future servicing and when we need bits and pieces for the bikes in the family. Really glad to have found this place!
