Sending my dogs here was an amazing investment into our future. My puppy Stormy had become reactive and I had no clue how to handle her. I felt alone and terrified she would end up being put down or hurting someone. She wouldn’t allow people to come over or even walk by without being reactive. I was apprehensive at first about using well rounded training techniques, but I was desperate. However, when she came back from behavior modification camp she was able to learn rules that helped both of us relax. I began to understand her reactivity and how I can keep both of us safe. And she has training that allows her to feel safe and that I’m in control. Not only is she obedient now, but she’s a much more relaxed dog. I ended up sending my other puppy Zorro as well because Stormy was so well behaved I couldn’t imagine having an untrained dog. They can both walk in a perfect heel, ignore distractions, obey commands, stay in their place, and are all around more comfortable. Both my puppies constantly get compliments on how well behaved they are now, which is ironic because they were known for their bad behavior. But mostly, I don’t feel alone in training my dogs anymore. When I have questions I always know I have somewhere to call and someone to help. You pay for the results and that speaks for itself. Cannot recommend them enough! Literally changed my life.

We have a 6 month old bernedoodle who was having difficulty with going on walks, jumping on kids, controlling our behavior, and not eating out of her bowl. I listened to many audio tools for training and read books and it was not working. So we called Prestige K9, and sent our beloved puppy to stay a Spencer’s for 3 weeks. We missed her alot but she came back a completely new dog. We were told what to expect but we had not realized what good professional dog training could do. She came back able to walk off leash, come, sit, lay down in place even when handymen come over to our home, she was eating, she would get down instantly if she jumped, she obeys about 10 commands and she is soooooo much better. They will even do a follow up at your home later on if the dog starts to regress. I was so amazed and followed her progress on facebook. Its worth every penny, just call them. We can now take her to hotels, restaurants and around our grandkids. Its been life changing and our dog is happy and more secure after training.

I signed Rosie, my 5 y/o belgian malinois mix, with Prestige K-9’s Behavior Modification Training (4-6 weeks). This was the first time I enrolled my dog in a board and train, and it was an amazing first experience. The person I first talked to was Chelsea, and we had 3 long conversations (30min - 1hr) before proceeding. She was very patient and empathetic. Since I was not too knowledgeable with the process, she answered all my questions and addesssed my concerns. I had the pleasure of working with Trainer Halle Tennison. I am very grateful that I was matched with such a level headed and experienced trainer. She sent 2 lengthy and detailed emails a week, which I was very appreciative of. It calmed my anxiety as the weeks passed on. In addition, she would often post instagram updates and tag me. These were my favorite. Rosie became reactive the older she got. She would bark at anyone coming to the door, pull on walks, react whenever there was another dog (regardless of the distance), unable to wave her focus whenever commands were said during walks, etc. In turn, it made her walks stressful and burdensome. It made me extremely anxious as well, leading to her walks to be reduced to once a week at a random time in the day when I knew there were fewer dogs around. This also applied to taking her out in public, whether it was to the park or her vet visits. At home, she was a complete different dog. The silliest and sweetest thing. Something that not everyone was able to see and experience. The issue was being out in public and around other dogs. Rosie’s reactivity stemmed from her deep anxiety. She was just scared of the world and it made her seem aggressive. So I was extremely anxious and kept second guessing my decision with enrolling her in a train and board. I never been separated from my dog for that long, let alone have someone care for her. With Halle’s patience, hard work, and great expertise during the 6 weeks, Rosie came home with a more confident and calm demeanor. It was one thing to read her detailed emails and see the video updates, but to see it in person was a whole other thing. I almost could not recognize my own dog. Rosie came back home in a much better state than when she left. Halle spent a good 2 hours teaching me how to handle and continue Rosie’s training. We even walked her around the neighborhood and I was just amazed by the difference. Rosie did not pull on the leash, she did not react whenever there were dogs barking behind fences, and stayed in her heel position during the whole walk. I learned a lot during this experience. I realized that Rosie needed this kind of instruction and guidance all along, especially because of her breed. I am proud of my dog’s ongoing progress. And we will continue to only get better, all thanks to Prestige-K9 and Trainer Halle.

Halle trained and boarded our 16 week, golden doodle puppy for 3 weeks and we are thrilled with our decision. Halle took great care of Rosie (the puppy) and Rosie has been SUCH a delightful puppy since returning. Before she left she was getting into a phase where she would become too hyper and start nipping at my daughter’s dresses, backpacks, hanging dish towels, etc. Since returning she has been calm with barely any nipping at all. Halle also gave us tools and instructions for crate training our dog even though she has separation anxiety. All in all, it was 💯 money well spent and we’re booking the next course with Halle when our puppy is older.

I had my dog Gracie in the 4 week board and train program. Gracie has terrible fear aggression that was making life very difficult for her and as her owner I was struggling to help her through that fear. I was set with Halle as my trainer and couldn't have had a better experience!! Halle broke that shell Gracie had and showed her new ways to go about her fear instead of just reacting to everything that frightened her. Gracie still has that fear but now knows how to handle her anxiety/fear in a calm manner and I now know how to manage and help her through that anxiety as well. Absolutely the best decision I made for my dog!! We now have a great communication between us that I couldn't have gotten without the help. <3

I have a very reactive rescue who is a handful, and cannot trust her with anyone, the first time I used Rover, she got kicked off. My dog has aggression towards both dogs and people, but I needed to find someone I can trust to handle Tasha whenever I have a trip, or even some work weeks. I was referred to Mari and never looked back. She is amazing with Tasha, and whenever I board her, I never feel worried. Mari takes tasha for long walks and plays fetch with her in her large yard. Tasha is always cared for, and Mari even does pick ups and drop offs if you need them. She is a life saver and I don’t know what I’d do without her.

As a previous employee, I would not recommend the Wilton location under head trainer, Spencer. I have heard and only had amazing encounters with trainer Kim, in Washington, but from personal experience, I do not recommend you send your dog here. . Edit: Thank you for your reply. To clarify, I stopped pursuing unemployment because my new job started and it wasn’t necessary. I already had a new job lined up, so it wasn’t a big deal to start it early. I was let go, before I finished my two weeks. I still highly urge you to reconsider sending your dog here. I’m not posting photo/video, or claiming any facts, I’m just stating my opinion.

I rescued this amazing 2 year old Shepherd, Holly. When I got her, she had very little training. After working with Holly for weeks on my own I got to the point to where I just needed help. Holly would keep pulling on the leach, lunge at people (she thought they wanted to play) and would do the same towards other dogs and to cars that drove by us. I reached out to Prestige k9 and they sent Stacy to me to evaluate Holly. With guidance from Stacy she gave me the tools to teach Holly basic commands, walk on leash without pulling and even introduced Holly to other dogs. Just after 2 lessons so far, Holly is a different dog! Stacy really took the time to listen to me, watch Holly to see what we needed to work on. Prestige K9 was one of the most best investments we could have made for our dog. Their boot camp training program really put us a step ahead for our basic training needs. Our trainer, Stacy had gone above and beyond what we expected. She takes personal care and gives exceptional detail when training. She follows up with us to make sure we are still doing great with the after care and she even came back to us after the training to run through everything again and see if there was anything else we wanted to learn. We had a great 3-week experience with Kim training our dog. Her method is extremely effective—particularly with our pupper, who is reactive to other dogs and has a lot of anxiety around our fence line. Kim stayed in touch with us regularly throughout the 3 week process, and she continues to be incredibly responsive when we ask follow up questions, etc.. She obviously cares a lot about the dogs under her care. Every photo or video we received from her showed that she was doing really fun and challenging activities with him. She's incredibly warm and sweet with dogs. When he returned home, we noticed the difference immediately. While we are still in training mode with our pupper, his reactivity and anxiety are both under control. I found Kim's blend of training styles to be very effective. I really don't think it would've been so effective if positive reinforcement was the *only* style that she used—as we tried that ourselves for several years prior. I suspect that some might be concerned about sending their dog away for training—that maybe they would return with a different personality, or that they might be fearful of things like a prong collar or e-collar. This simply hasn't been our experience. The tools Kim gave us are effective and have helped him to be less-anxious than before his training.

It was a difficult choice to send our 18 month old puppy away for three weeks, but we didn't know what to do to control some of his learned behavior. We've now had him back for just one day and the difference is night and day. He goes to his designed place when told and gives us his doggy smile every time he does a command correctly. Prestige K9 Wilton CA. Made arrangements to have my dog trained. They picked a date to pick up dog Aug 18th noon. Sent emails for 3 days to remind me. I responded to each. They did not show up, no call, no text. I texted and got a return text they were leaving and on the way. This was an hour and a half after appt time. Another couple hours went by and I finally called, the man I talked to said there was a scheduling error and did I want to cancel. You bet I did, I had some reservations about their service to start with and this finalized the deal.

My puppy just returned home from a 10 day puppy bootcamp and Stacey was his trainer. I was (still) completely blown away at the strides my pup has made in such a short time. Stacey is absolutely amazing and has such amazing energy. She kept me up to date with awesome videos. She brought my pup back with a wealth of info to keep up with all he learned and gave me an in service on how to keep up with the tools he learned. I could tell he had a great time and had bonded and built trust with Stacey. My 13 week old puppy came back so much more controlled and knows basic commands and also has stopped the attacking and random biting me and my kids. I HIGHLY recommend this program if you are looking for training for your pup. I’ll be enrolling for more as my boy continues to grow!

Jade is AMAZING! We did the private sessions with her to help us with our dog Gus. We decided to do private lessons after an unfortunate incident where Gus took off after a small animal and we lost him for a little. Jade is amazing and totally understood the issue and helped coach us every step of the way. I was anxious about doing off-leash training, but cannot thank Jade enough! She immediately pointed out issues that my husband and I were doing, and showed us how to change those issues. Her support and encouragement made us feel like we could really have an off-leash dog one day! And that day came sooner than expected- all thanks to Jade!! Not only is Gus able to go hiking, his recall and overall commands have also improved greatly! We also noticed a much stronger bond between us as well! We sent our mini Goldendoodle, Whiskey, to K9 Prestige in March, she was 9 months old, full of energy, and we had no idea how to train her and get the results we wanted. I highly recommend Prestige K9! I rescued a pup at 5 months and he came into a life changing, chaotic home. I sent him to a different trainer, and after 3 weeks he came home and was afraid of everything. My mom found Prestige K9, and after our initial meeting with them I was comfortable sending my pup there and trusted he was going to come back a different dog (for the better). They sent me pictures of him during training and you could tell how much they care for the dogs they are training. Gina and Meredith was amazing! We have a almost 2 year old Pomeranian, and he would used to bark at everything (cars, people, dogs, sounds, car keys, drive thrus) literally anything you can think of. It was impossible to bring him out since he's always too excitable. He came back from his 3 week Behavior Modification Program, and he's been super respectful, obedient and well-mannered. I really thought it was impossible to fix him and Prestigek9 just proved otherwise. It's definitely an investment but I can assure you it will be worth it in the end if you commit and dedicate time for your dog. We've also gotten so many compliments about how well behaved our dog is. He can even walk off leash with us! We're so excited that we can finally bring him everywhere without feeling embarrassed! Really appreciated both Gina and Meredith for working so hard on our dog. We've been so happy ever since with his results! We are so grateful for the decision we made with him! Our Black Labrador was 11 months old when we put him in the three week training with Jackie. I cannot tell you how much improvement our big pup has shown. He left our home a menace, always taking a stuffed animal from our two yr old, counter surfer, absolutely stressful to go on a walk, taking him to our kids soccer games stopped because he was a nightmare. My husband and I couldn’t even watch a show at night with him because he was trying to get into anything he could even though everything was picked up. It got to the point where I was starting to wonder if we would be able to keep him. I feel so bad saying that but I was at my wits end! Then Jackie walks into our life and everything with our menace of a dog changed and I’m so in love with him again. It’s been a month since he came back home and I cannot explain the miracle that now lives in our home. Walking him is incredibly enjoyable, he is more chill around the house (and yes he was neutered 3 months prior to training but it didn’t change his hyper demeanor). He plays fetch off leash and listens so very well, no worries taking him to soccer, he is like a new dog except it’s still our Rocco, with a 180 degree change. I love that I don’t have to have an ugly ‘playpen’ in my house anymore and he will “place” on his cot (cot recommended by Jackie) and stay there until we say “free” it’s an absolute miracle. I cannot say enough good things about Jackie and her talent and love she will have for your animal. Rocco absolutely loves her and tried to run after her when she drove off but because of his new found obedience, he came right back when we called. I was worried he wouldn’t like us as much when he came back but that’s hardly the case, he probably loves us more because there is order obedience and control now. We tried training him ourselves but as he got bigger, it was very overwhelming and frustrating. This training is worth every penny! Jackie spent about two hrs with us at his drop off teaching us the ins and outs and what he learned, went in a walk with us and I could not believe what a normal, fun walk we had with him. Jackie is wonderful, and it will show in your dogs results. I had to text her about a couple things after and she was very accommodating and helpful. My last comment (although I could go on) is my new quote and I say it with some truth but also sarcasm… “getting a dog was one of the worst decisions we ever made. Putting him through training with Jackie was one of our best decisions and money we ever spent!” I’m so glad we did this for our family AND for our Good Boy, Rocco.

We are so happy we trusted Prestige with our 2 year old Rhodesian lab mix :-) Our big boy needed the behavioral mod training for his bad manners on the leash towards humans and other dogs. He spent 3 weeks with Ben and is the exact same dog… but with manners! I was never able to walk him due to tugging on the leash so strong and now we take two 30 minute walks together each day. He has also gone through a window with his snout when someone approached the front door, but now he stays perfectly on his “place” with little or no reactivity. Reinforcement is key! If you aren’t going to uphold the training at home, don’t waste your money :) Ben did a great job of setting us up for success with our previously untrainable dog :)

Do not recommend. I sent my two dogs for training in September, at significant expense (close to $7K for both). Was disappointed to realize upon their return home that this training is 100% negative reinforcement based. When I dared question the use of a prong collar on my 4 lb chihuahua, my trainer became hostile and confrontational. I tried reaching out to the contact I spoke to initially, and it was clear that she wanted nothing to do with me after my initial payment cleared. Buy a prong collar and save yourself thousands of dollars and many headaches.

We reached out to Prestige K9 when our dogs became unstable and could not peacefully live in the same house. As soon as we called they understood our situation and had one of their trainers contact us and set up a visit. Jade was amazing and upon hearing about our problems (dogs fighting, causing injuries). She explained her plan and we felt like it was our best bet to keep both our dogs with us. We sent them to the 3 Week board and train. Jade communicated everything with us and when they came back we continued the plan she put in place. Even after dogs where home Jade always made her self available for any questions and or concerns we had. It’s been about a month after they have been back and we have been a happy dog family once again. We can’t thank Jade / Prestige K9 enough! We still have a long journey of continued dog training ahead of us but Jade gave us the tools to succeed.

Jade at Prestige K9 is an exceptional dog trainer and did an amazing job training our 1 year old dog, Bo Diddley. Bo had been a runner, chewer, nipper, jumper and counter surfer and now he is an extremely well-behaved, calmer dog who can be outside off leash and no longer is doing any of the behaviors that were causing so much stress. We have Bella gone for her training camp with prestige k9 while she was barely six months , I was quite anxious that she might not train well cause she was just a puppy and so full of energy. We wanted her to have a strong , basic obedience training because of our autistic son and we wanted her to make sure that she will be a good companion for him. From the very beginning of our contacts with prestige K9, Chelsea was so prompt answering all of our questions and inquiries , very pleasant , and was very patient with me. I loved their weekly postings and you can really tell that Bella was happy and it’s amazing to watch how she followed the commands and looked like she was having a great time .Stacy brought her home and she was ever so patient with us during our training. Great training and you can tell that Stacy loves what she does, the compassion and love to this dog shows! We are forever grateful Prestigek9, you guys do a great job!

We adopted a one year old German Shepard from a local animal shelter. Very sweet dog but very unfocused and hyper. We where looking for someone to train him with knowledge of a strong temperament dog and came across Prestige K9. We where invited to the owners home to discuss their approach and for them to evaluate our newly acquired dog. We where very impressed by the knowledge and professionalism. When the training was done they delivered our dog to our home and spent 2 hours going over all the training they had done through demonstrations and showing us how to proceed with what had been taught. They not only gave us back a very happy and highly focused dog but where very transparent and professional. Over a year later, we are still in appreciation for a job very well done. We sent our dog King to the behavior medication 3 week course and we are extremely happy with how confident, focused and obedient he is. Spencer and Marissa are the best!!! They took such great care of my Great Dane Mia and helped me right away find out that she was allergic to chicken. I believe the most important part of training like this is having the owner trained and my trainer Sarah was patient and supportive of me and I feel confident that I can be a good owner but if the need is there, I can call upon her for further guidance as well as allowing my pup to return to more training if I am having difficulties. I really am impressed by this training and am currently totally happy with Prestige K9 and recommend them to others - but note that it is quite expensive so you need to committed yourself to train both your dog and especially yourself!

We’ve had well behaved dogs in the past and we were always able to train them by ourselves. Our 8-week old puppy joined our family last August. She is sweet, sensitive, intelligent, independent and driven. We tried everything we knew to do to get compliance with minimal success. Frustrated, yet ever so hopeful, we admitted we needed help. We loved Prestige K9 and especially our trainer Jordynn! And so did our dog Smooch! First, let me mention that of the 5 dog training services I reached out to Prestige was the only company that didn't just send me their Venmo details expecting a payment without first talking to someone at the company. Thank you for this! After checking out their Facebook page and reading all the great reviews we decided to give Prestige a try. I set up a phone consultation with their admin Chelsea who was very friendly and answered all of my questions. We talked about our 6-month-old dog Smooch and what we wanted to get out of training. We signed up for the 3-week camp. After you send a deposit, you schedule a day for the trainer to pick up your dog. Upon arriving, our trainer Jordynn asked us about Smooch and things we wanted to work on. She was very nice and clearly knew her stuff. She talked about the commands she would work on with smooch and the tools she would use and also what to expect when he comes home. It was really hard to go without our boy Smooch for three weeks but Jordynn was so nice and was willing to send us photos and videos of Smooch working on his new skills. The day Smooch returned, we spent 2 hours with Jordynn going over the new commands and how to use the new tools. She walked us through everything from how to use the e-collar correctly, walking with Smooch in the heel position, the 'place' command, and a 'down' and stay command OFF LEASH with distractions at a nearby park. Most importantly Jordynn explained how to continue the training to reinforce all the hard work she and Smooch put in. We work with Smooch every day, a little bit in the house and out on walks and at the park. Our walks are so much easier. Smooch wasn't a puller but he wanted to smell and eat everything on the walk which made walks VERY slow. Not any more. Smooch walks in the heel position, sits at doorways, crosswalks or anywhere we ask him to sit. Keeping him engaged with us on walks is key! We like to go on a lot of hikes and to the beach where we want to be able to let Smooch off-leash. We haven't perfected the off-leash heeling but the foundation is there and Smooch is making huge improvements every day. It's really hard with all the distractions! BUT his off-leash recall is very very good! We recently went on vacation to San Diego where there is a MASSIVE dog beach. Very fun! Smooch came every time we called him. Even amongst distractions galore. We even practiced down-stay! He would greet other dogs but if we called him back he came. This is very important especially at dog parks. We are still using treats or some of his kibble as a reward for listening but it works. He's only 6-months! We will continue to perfect the recall but I can't express how happy this made us and much more enjoyable off-leash adventures are now that Smooch is able to stay engaged with us even off-leash. Lastly, one of our hopes was to be able to take Smooch with us to outdoor dining and have him relax next to us without being anxious and wanting to smell and greet every person or dog that walks by. We have put that to the test and he is doing so well! Overall, Smooch is WAY more engaged with us and listens to commands and also he's just more relaxed and less anxious about the world. I can't express how happy we are that we found Prestige K9. Its made such an impact in our day-to-day lives with Smooch. Dog training is a bit pricey and I know it's scary to trust a stranger to take your dog but I would recommend them to all of my friends that are looking for dog training. I was very impressed with their business, transparency, communication, and of course our trainer Jordynn.

I contacted this company about a week ago asking for a quote and they replied asking where I was located and what type of breed and age of my puppy, I replied and let them know all the information they asked for, for the next few days I messaged them once a day asking if they were going to reply and they never replied back and just left me hanging and wasted my time instead of at least telling me they weren't interested in working with me or something. I don't know for certain but I have a feeling it may possibly be that they are discriminating against my breed of dog, or at the least they are just unprofessional. I gave them plenty of time to contact me back before leaving this review and they seemed like a decent company before I contacted them but after completely ignoring me decided to make this review to let other people know what I went through. Edit: they contacted me back after this review apologizing for the delay and explained that they have been very busy so I'm going to change the review as of now because it's understandable that people are not robots and they do get busy although I do believe a quick message letting me know to call or something would have been preferable. I'm going to proceed to possibly use their service further, and will be giving them 4 stars as of now and we'll let everyone know if the training is a good investment through them and if so the stars will go to 5 stars. We were nervous about sending Marshall away for 3 weeks and never having done professional training before, I was stressed about the investment. After going through the process, and now after having Marshall back for over a month, it's clear we made a great decision. My biggest concern was the "E-collar" portion of training. Thinking about Marshall in "pain" was a big part of what gave us pause. When Rachel met us for our group session after the 3 weeks were up, she actually showed us the collar, and the "settings" on the E-Collar. Once we were able to see the collar and even experience what the collar felt like ourselves, we realized we had nothing to worry about! The "shock" level used to train Marshall (for the most part) was more of a "tickle". I even laughed at what a wuss he was. Even cranking the E-Collar to 15 (double what he normally responds to) it's not painful, more of a sensation than anything else. I wish Rachel would've showed us the collar during our hand off, it would've relieved some of our stress! To be clear, the handoff, communication and follow up have been phenomenal! This was just one tiny area that could be changed. My point is, if you're worried about the E-collar portion of this experience, DON'T BE! Our dog is a big, stubborn boy, and the last month have been a dream come true. He still has all his personality and joy - he just listens to our commands. The best part is, he training is sticking. We can take Marshall to places and people's houses, and not be worried about his behavior. It's so much fun! We are thrilled with PrestigeK9 and have already recommended it several friends and family members. I will definitely be leveraging Rachel's skills in the future when our fur-family grows!

My six month old German Shepherd/husky puppy Jax attended the 3 week off leash training camp. He was all over the place and easily distracted when I sent him to the camp, he came home a different dog. He’s calmer, listens to commands, less barking and did amazing on our walk. I am so thankful for the work that Stacey did with Jax, he’s more relaxed and well behaved. Stacey made sure I knew what to do to continue training at home and help Jax be a well behaved and happy pup. I’d definitely recommend this camp to anyone. When we adopted a 3 year old German Shepard from the spca, we were so excited. We brought Bella home and that excitement turned into fear. She was aggressive towards our teenage boys, she was a terror to take on walks, she would prefer to be chased out in our yard rather than come inside when called. She also would bark like crazy and I was afraid she would break our front window from trying to get out when dogs and people walked by. I contacted several trainers who said “she can’t be helped” or “take her back”. That is until I spoke to Kristen at Prestige K9. She had faith in Bella. She had encouraging words that Bella could be helped with all of our fears. We signed Bella up and dropped her off after having her only three days. I kept in touch with the trainers throughout Bella’s stay. They sent me pictures and encouraging messages. At the 4 week mark when Bella should be coming home, they asked to keep her an extra week. They did this at no extra charge. We have now had her home over a week, and she is a different dog. Kristen has come to see us again to check in on Bella and how we are doing with her. Prestige K9 is simply put amazing and worth the investment. We could not have kept her if it wasn’t for them. If we ever get another dog it will for sure spend some time at prestige. Thank you to the amazing trainers at Prestige K9! My 1 and a half year old Minnie Aussie was full of so much excitement she would jump all over people and act out of control any time we would attempt to take her out with us or even when people would come to visit our home. She was constantly pulling on the leash during walks so hard that she would lift her front legs from the pressure. Harnesses, puppy leashes and gentle leader mussels did nothing to correct her walking behaviors. We couldn’t get her to listen when any type of distractions would arise. We sent her to their three week camp and she came back so well behaved it was unbelievable. Listening under distraction, on and off leash walking, behavior in public or around others is no longer a issue. She even sits in the car patiently. We could never get her to sit calmly in the car previously. I highly recommend this training camp. It is worth the price for the freedom you and your pup will have afterwards to simply enjoy life together. If you give this place a chance your pup will come home obedient and well behaved.

When Suby returned home from training we were impressed with her obedience training and happy to be able to control our reactive dog, but what really impressed us about Prestige K9 was their commitment to their customers. Yes, I felt confident we had control over our dog, but I did not feel like I had control over the situation, I still felt uncomfortable walking past other dogs, I would freeze up in fear at the sight of another dog and I know that that wasn't helping. When I reached out to Prestige K9 about the challenges I was having, Kristen quickly scheduled a one-on-one follow up session with us. This one-on-one session with Kristen has made all the difference. My attitude has completely turned around, I am actually eager to take Suby out on walks now that I have the tools to work with her rather than just control her. When I took Suby out on my own after this additional help from Kristen, yes, I still had some incidences- an off leash dog running up to us, Suby reacting to other dogs- but this time I felt confident at the end of the leash and knew that I was in control.

We are so incredibly thankful for the wonderful job Prestige K9 did with our dog! Luna is a rescue who came with some pretty bad manners which caused a lot of stress in our home. She’s extremely athletic and loves to run... Sadly We could never let her off leash... even in our backyard, because she could clear the fence as if it were non existent and take off. Her house manners were poor... she’d rush the door to get out, and walk across the top of furniture like a goat. (lol) Long story short, we were brought back the dog I dreamed she would be! Luna has house manners, I can just let her out in the yard to potty without having to be on a tie out, actually play fetch in the yard, and we now go on walks OFF LEASH! The trainers are wonderful and you can tell they genuinely cared for our girl! Prestige K9 gets 5 stars all the way! They worked wonders for our girl!!

I’ve sent my 9 month old German Shepherd dog to the board camp in Seattle. Here is my experience. Scheduling - this was a bit painful, initial replies are delayed, lots of questions aren’t clearly answered, I’ve had an impression that it can’t be a good sign. I was wrong but I would recommend Prestige K9 to improve here. I believe you are loosing your potential customers due to initial communication issues. Pick up - this was very smooth. They just came, asked some clarifying questions, pick up my dog. Nothing really to mention. Waiting - I wasn’t able to see any notion of progress but they explicitly said that they don’t provide such updates. I asked for a picture of my dog once and I got it almost immediately. I also found few more pictures of my dog in their instagram. Result - to be honest, I am impressed with the results. I have no idea how they did it, but I have got completely changed dog. He used to pull on leash so hard that it was challenging to walk him, my dog was totally unmanageable in many different aspects. What I have now: 1. Whenever I say “Freddy come”, my dog runs towards me and in a moment he sits next to my leg. He doesn’t go anywhere until I release him. 2. I can put him to his place and he simply stays there. 3. Whenever I give him “sit” or “down” command he just go to the desired position and waits for release. I’ve done it in Petco while shopping and he didn’t break his position even with other dogs walking right in front of him. I went to my kids soccer game and Freddy was lying there right in front of running kids and soccer ball. I’ve done in with so many distractions but Freddy was holding his sit or down. 4. He knows “heel” command. With or without leash. I have a lot of rabbits next to my house. Freddy was heeling off leash with rabbits running while he was watching them. He didn’t break “heel”. In summary I have off leash trained dog. Simple like this. Prestige K9 trainers knows their job very well. Freddy still makes mistakes, but he is living creature and this is expected. He is on the right track. Value - to be completely honest, it wasn’t cheap. But I strongly believe that it was worth it. Now I can rely on my dog and I can simply enjoy his company. I wish Prestige K9 all the best and I am pretty sure I will come back to them a bit later for more advance training.

Prestige K9 is amazing! We recently had our 1 year old, male German Shepherd (Bentley) board trained and we can not be more pleased with the results! The progress Bentley has made in just over a month is astounding. Before, we couldn't even take him out of the house without being dragged around the neighborhood. After the training, we took him for a walk and he stayed right by our side and obeyed commands even with distractions of other kids, rabbits, and other dogs within the vicinity. Kristen is awesome and very knowledgeable about canines, and we really appreciate everything she did for our dog. Kristen did an awesome job going over the training with us at our home and explaining in great detail what we need to do to continue the training that our Bentley went through.
