The Legend Of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct: All The Biggest Announcements
This year marks a major milestone for The Legend of Zelda IP, but one that has seemingly had very little fanfare from its parent company, Nintendo. That all changed today, as Nintendo dedicated a whole Direct broadcast to its long-running tale of heroes in green, mythical items of power, and the titular princess Zelda.
This was mostly focused on the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and the presentation also revealed new celebrations being held around the world. We’re also going to be brushing up on our musical skills, as Nintendo is going to sell an Ocarina instrument that you can use in the upcoming remake, which launches in November.
While we didn’t get a teaser for the upcoming live-action movie, we did get our first look at the logo for it.
And don’t forget, there’ll also be a Nintendo Direct on September 9. This one will be longer, at 45 minutes, and it’ll be followed by a Treehouse livestream featuring gameplay from select titles.
